CCI2M – Quality in French writing Campaign

Mandat

Boumgrafik was mandated to develop the brand image as well as the communication tools of the French Quality campaign aimed at promoting mastery of French in the retail sector.

As part of this campaign, the MRC Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Deux-Montagnes (CCI2M), in collaboration with the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF), offers various tools to increase the notoriety of the company using a good quality / French ratio. These are aimed at employers or employees, aged 18 to 35, working in the retail sector in the Basses-Laurentides region and more specifically in the following six (6) sub-sectors:

  1. Food;
  2. Restauration;
  3. Automobile services;
  4. Personal care services;
  5. Specialized shop;
  6. Retail stores

Deliverables

The brand image adopts a pop-art style allowing it to reach both 18-year-old and 35-year-old customers. Pot-art using popular symbols lends itself well to the retail market.

The playful aspect in the form of a cartoon à la Roy Liechtenstein was chosen in order to create interest in more serious notions of the French language.

The dialogue bubbles make it easy to illustrate several scenarios highlighting concrete situations where French is not used adequately in retail businesses.
